Manas Yang

It is with immense sadness that the family of Manas Yang announces her unexpected passing, on Friday September 27, 2024 at the young age of 36.

Manas was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 15, 1988 to Joua Pao and Mee Yang. In 2007, she graduated from Broken Arrow High School. She continued for higher education and graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Leadership from Northeastern State University in 2018. In 2016, Manas married the love of her life, Cheng Vang. Since 2019, Manas has been employed at Oklahoma Department of Human Services. She worked very hard and diligently to further pursue her career as a IV-E Custody Specialist III.

All those that have met Manas know she was always so kind, positive, and had the biggest heart. She loved shopping, snacking, and spending time with her family and friends. She has touched many of our hearts and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Manas is survived by her husband Cheng Vang; her parents Joua Pao and Mee Yang; her siblings, Bee, Aric (Tswb), Yong (Ntxoo), Bao, and Dao; her brother/sister in-laws, 5 nephews, and 6 nieces.

Please join us in Celebrating Manas’ Life at the Lake Side Hall, 12732 South Old Hwy 169 Oologah, OK 74053, on October 19-20, 2024 at 8 AM to 10 PM. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK 74145, at 10 AM.
