Asanji Rose Shuri

A light bulb! An Icon of her time! A beacon of joy! A “To - Go person”! A warm embrace and custodian of tradition. A ROSE she truly was , blossomed everywhere she went and now blossoming even more in the skies .

A Queen amongst kings ! She made her royal entry on March 16th 1964 as the lone girl after five boys to Manyi Benedicta Mange and Jean Fru all of blessed memory. She married into the Asanji’s family to their son Pa Asanji Cho Adolf (aka Metal Man) and was blessed with 9 children (1 who passed on). An entrepreneurial woman. A very supportive spouse who stood by her husband and together they managed multiple businesses. She was a firm believer of education and ensured her children attended the best schools. Many called her mama because she was a mother to many.

Strong, Warm, loving, funny, kind, quick-witted, and cheerleader of her children. A style icon and so sharply observant she never missed a thing. A beautiful MAMA indeed who passed away on PENTECOST SUNDAY - May 28th 2023.
